The Account Manager is responsible for the success of the company’s online marketplaces in the Benelux. This person will advise moving companies & home improvement professionals on getting the most out of the company’s products. Furthermore, they will grow the Benelux market by finding new business opportunities and grow the market share. In addition, the Account Manager will be part of an exceptional team of 15 account managers with different nationalities, supporting clients and customers around the world.

 

Job Profile for Account Manager Benelux
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Manage their own group of clients
  • Identify growth opportunities within their own client accounts
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with their own clients
  • Ensure excellent customer service delivery and client retention
  • Handle negotiations with a commercial mind set
  • Add value to clients’ accounts by developing ideas and following through
  • Achieve a win-win situation for the client and the business
  • Promote and communicate about products and services by telephone
  • Follow up on outstanding payment
  • Be aware and adhere to company policies and guidelines

Candidate Profile for Account Manager Benelux

  • Must be fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business or related education is a requirement
  • Must have proven 2+ years related work experience in the field of account management, client services or telesales
  • Mandatory Netherlands resident
  • Comfortability on the phone and ensuring telephone etiquette
  • Be capable of working in a structured and coherent manner
  • Should possess a commercial mindset, engage with their own work and have ambition
  • Persistent, proactive and have a positive attitude
  • Act as a team player with planning and organisational skills with attention to accuracy
  • Be able to collaborate at a professional level in a fast growing business
  • Should be a fun person who is eager to build their legacy
