Our client, a highly respected and extremely prestigious world leader, is looking for a Senior HR Advisor to join their dynamic, multicultural and multilingual organisation in The Hague.

 

Job Profile for Senior HR Advisor
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Partner with the managers to meet the organisations people needs through available HR programs and policies, and proactively forecast and deliver against people lifecycle
  • Work with the managers to coordinate/conduct (annual) HR programs and activities including performance management, promotions, development, talent & succession planning and engagement; support annual business planning in people related topics
  • Coach and advise managers on people related topics & provide case management for employee cases
  • Conduct workforce planning and support people needs through (internal) recruitment activities, acting and development assignments, Individual Development Plan (IDP) development and career coaching
  • Analyse team dynamics and design, organise and/or deliver programs or events in support of team development; deliver and support the design of corporate learning events as appropriate
  • Conduct organisation design activities and collaborate with TRP when needed
  • Identify trends, commission analysis and (co-)develop solutions to address organisation people needs
  • Support the people services division as needed with regards to complex situations and act as second line contact for questions from employees and managers on HR policies and processes; participate in people services activities when required
  • Develop and submit proposals in coordination with the HR Development Specialists for policy changes, based on internal and external developments

Candidate Profile Senior HR Advisor

  • Must be fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken
  • Bachelor’s degree is required (HR, MBA, International Business, or related field)
  • 7+ years of experience in a similar position (HR Generalist/Advisor or equivalent)
  • Must have excellent knowledge of the local employment law
  • Great communicator
  • International experience or business knowledge is a plus
  • Someone of ‘fortitude’ able to influence, persuade and stand on their own two feet
  • Leadership qualities are a must
