Our international client is a world-leading organisation in the IT/Software market. Their Business and Sales Operations (BSO) team in the Netherlands is responsible for driving breakthrough improvements in the execution for the Enterprise and Small, Medium and Corporate business (SMC). The team is accountable for the Operational Excellence, for the quality and impact of Business Insights upon which decisions are made, and for the Sales Leadership needed to embed world class selling within their respective businesses.  

We are looking for a tool-savvy Sales Excellence professional to join their team in Schiphol. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining data accuracy, both by proactively approaching outstanding cases and reaching out to the sales field for input and for supporting incoming requests – support the business through reporting and analysis and running different queries to identify missing revenue/parenting requests.

Job Profile for Sales Excellence
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

Parenting and segmentation

  • Prepare ready-to-go files for the business to gather input, that can be analysed and adjusted for bulk uploads
  • Maintain a wide array of data-related business processes and reporting
  • Enter information into existing databases and create new processes and programs to accurately input and store critical data
  • Work across business lines, communicating team members’ requirements and specifications while developing enhanced data and reporting
  • Work directly with team leaders to gain a better sense of the current trends and ensure visibility on best practices that are shared within the organisation
  • Maintain system data accuracy and efficiency

Conduct monthly routine audits

  • Check Sales IDs that are created
  • Clean up of exiting Sales IDs and proactively assure duplicates are removed

Red Carpet – Process that supports all the transitions. E.g. partner moving to someone else in the team – handover process

  • Ensure that the handover process has been done by others, by reporting and ensuring actions are taken

Annuity and renewal follow up – the organisation’s Customers who sign up for 3 years will need to renew

  • Responsible for reporting that the renewal is done on time and with growth. This helps Sales Managers to manage the renewal process

Managed Account List (MAL) & Managed Partner List (MPL) maintenance & parenting

  • Ensure systems are up to date
  • Requests come in and revenue may need merging with other accounts etc - you will verify and run reports to ensure these updates have been manually updated

Candidate Profile for Sales Excellence

  • Must be fluent in English, both written and spoken
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Operations Support/Sales Operations – data-driven reporting
  • Business analytics skills and experiences
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and pivot tables are required, PowerBI is an asset
  • Knowledge and experiences in one or multiple of the following areas are required – Including related tools/processes:
    • Business and opportunity management: pipeline management, forecast management
    • Scorecard management
    • Data management, analysis and reporting
  • Need to be both Operational and able to support sellers/managers, e.g. through reporting and providing guidance throughout different processes
  • Eager to learn, happy to handle administration tasks in an accurate manner
  • Self-driven, able to find your way, ask for help when needed
